Today is the Memorial of Saint Teresa of Jesus, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. In the First Reading from Ephesians 1, Paul writes, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before him." Is this predestination? Not being a theologian, I don't know. All I know is that I now follow Christ because God chose me in him.
