Today is the Memorial of Saint Augustine. The Gospel Acclamation, Luke 21:36, reads: "Be vigilant at all times and pray, that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man." This is what Jesus said to his disciples. Indeed, we need to pray this, for the day to stand before the Lord will surely come for each of us. The question is: Are we ready?
