***A Truth Disclosed

Today is already the first day of November, the Solemnity of All Saints. In the first reading from Revelation 7, John had a vision of a great multitude from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, crying out in a loud voice: "Salvation comes from our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb." All the angels stood around the throne. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God, and exclaimed: "Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
The Lord has made me see clearly that he has so made us that we become free only when we worship him alone! If we choose to be God ourselves, we invariably shall end up enslaving ourselves.
