In today's Gospel reading from Matthew 5, Jesus said to his disciples, "If you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift." Wow, if we have not yet reconciled with our brother, trying to please the Lord without doing so can seem hypocritical. This should make us think about our relationships with everyone! If we are filled with love for all, then the Lord will be pleased to receive us.
