In today's Second Reading from Philippians 2, Paul, citing Christ Jesus as an example, advises everyone to do nothing out of selfishness or vainglory. Instead, he urges us to humbly regard others as more important than ourselves, looking out not only for our own interests, but also for the interests of others. This is a high standard and certainly something for us to work on, as becoming more like the Lord is ultimately our aim.
