****Assured Salvation****
Today's first reading comes from Jeremiah 20. The prophet wrote, "I hear the whisperings of many: 'Terror on every side! Denounce! let us denounce him!' All those who were my friends are on the watch for any misstep of mine. 'Perhaps he will be trapped; then we can prevail, and take our vengeance on him.' But the LORD is with me, like a mighty champion: my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph. In their failure they will be put to utter shame, to lasting, unforgettable confusion." I cannot speak for everyone, but personally I know that if we stick with Christ, then no matter how much people denounce, attack, or persecute us, we will come through unscathed in the end. This is assured for all who belong to the Lord.

**Be Free from the World
On earth, we seem to think continuously about worldly things. Then we realize that when we leave this earth, we just have to drop them all. So the time to get ourselves detached from this world to facilitate our unavoidable departure as much as possible is now. Again, the best way is to achieve union with God through the Holy Eucharist. Once we belong to the Lord, we are automatically set free from the world.
***Unimaginable Inheritance
Today's entrance antiphon, Hebrews 9:15—Christ is mediator of a New Covenant, so that by means of his death, those who are called may receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. On earth, when we inherit something from our parents or an ancestor, it is usually beneficial to us in some way. Now, we who have been called by God will receive our inheritance from the heavenly Father, imagine how much that would benefit us—it would surely be unimaginable! This is what we, his faithful children, have to look forward to.

***Only One True God***
Have you ever wondered how God knows that you are praying to him and not to some other being when you pray to him? Well, there is only one true God, the God of Christ, who created us in his image. Thus, he is the only one who knows our thoughts and can decipher our hearts; and our conscience is completely exposed to him. So when you pray to him, he knows exactly that you are seeking him. Whereas when you pray to some false god, he wouldn't even hear you. Even if he did, he wouldn't know if you're speaking the truth to him or not, ha ha.
***Vast Difference*
I have a relative who has no religious faith of any kind. She has gone through two failed marriages and is now living and working alone to sustain herself. Although I've shared my Christian faith with her, she's just not ready to take it seriously yet. What I want to say is that anyone going through life without Christ is ultimately leading an empty existence. Essentially, we have a lost soul drifting aimlessly through life. With Christ, you get rock solid guidance and support, and know exactly where you're going. The difference is night and day.

****Greatest Possible Exaltation
Communion experience. By humbly surrendering yourself to the Lord and letting him enter you, he greatly exalts you to his level.
***Purpose of This Blog***
It is to let the world know that the Lord wishes to draw all to union with him through the Holy Eucharist. By abandoning yourself in him and attaining union, you get to experience freedom, peace, and joy. You now belong to him and nothing can separate you from his love for you anymore. He has exalted you to the highest plane of existence and you are now heaven bound.

****Be Merciful like God****
Today's Gospel reading from John 8 tells the story of the woman caught in adultery. To test Jesus, the scribes and the Pharisees said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?'' He said to them, "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.'' In response, they went away one by one. This is such a good answer for us to keep in mind: Do not ever condemn anyone unless you are sinless! (This is why judging is a sin.) We know that only God is holy and perfect, yet even he, being merciful, does not ever wish to condemn us. To be like him, we must be merciful like him.
**God's Mercy for All*
Today's entrance antiphon from Psalm 56: Have mercy on me, O God, for people assail me; they fight me all day long and oppress me. Here the psalmist asks God to have mercy on him rather than to take pity on his enemies. This makes sense, for if God grants him mercy, he'd surely protect him from his enemies. Nevertheless, every single one of us needs God's mercy whether you are the assailer or the victim..

**Joy Brings Sorrow
The more we are overjoyed with Christ, the more we pity those who do not believe in him.
***Be like a Mirror***
This morning I got out of bed and saw a perfect round circle of sunlight on my bedroom wall. I realized that it was caused by the low morning sunlight, coming thru the window, hitting the mirror, and getting reflected onto the opposite wall. It was quite remarkable. You usually think of sunlight producing dark shadows, not bright reflections. My inspired thought was that we should be like that mirror reflecting the light of Christ perfectly for all to see.

**Cause of Profound Peace*
Communion experience. I felt profound peace because the mystery of my existence has been completely solved.
**Our Role Before the Lord*
We'll all be measured against Jesus Christ and be judged by him, for he is the perfect one. So imitate him and submit yourself to his mercy.

**Most Apt Saying
Can you possibly think of anything that's better than enjoying peace and bliss for all eternity? I don't think so. Therefore, it's perfectly correct to say that for all faithful Christians, the best is yet to come.
***Most Pleasing Virtue*
Being able to accept suffering joyfully and offering it up to the Lord is a great virtue. It makes you Christlike and is most pleasing to the Lord. Besides, it will gain merit for heaven for you.
***Do Not Limit God*
If you believe that nothing is impossible for God, then ask for the impossible! Do not limit yourself nor the Lord! Timid faith is lack of faith. Naturally, asking for the the impossible doesn't mean asking for the unreasonable. So be reasonable and ask for anything that's good from your very heart and the Lord will always consider it. Never rule out miracles. If you intention is good, the Lord doesn't get bothered.
