In today's Gospel reading from Luke 24, Jesus, before he ascended into heaven, startled his disciples by suddenly appearing in their midst to show them that he was a real person with flesh and bones and was the Christ to fulfill everything written about him in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms. I just intuitively know that we have a Lord who knows everything about anything as well as what is going on in all our hearts. It is a great consolation to place ourselves under his care and know that we won't ever be lost again.
