In today's Gospel reading from Matthew 13, Jesus spoke of the kingdom of heaven as a mustard seed that a person took and sowed. The smallest of all the seeds when full-grown became the largest of plants. The kingdom of heaven is also like yeast a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch was leavened. One thing is clear: God can change us, transform us.
