"Be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

******Priceless Tip******

God is infinite—how can we ever reach him? Well, if we try on our own, we'll never make it. But if we allow the Lord to lift us up to him, it becomes effortless! This is letting the Lord do the impossible on us. You see, God makes everything easy for us, but we choose to follow ourselves and end up making everything hard. This is precisely why a saint lives a much easier life than a sinner. Now that you know the secret, you are ready to start your journey on seeking union with the Lord thru the Holy Eucharist.

****Tragic Situation (Warning)****

Looking at the world, it looks as if most people are unknowingly seeking to be punished by God, not knowing that God loves them immensely and doesn't want any of them to perish. The situation is absolutely tragic! To lose your souls is infinitely worse than losing your possessions, properties, earthly privileges, physical bodies, families, friends, and everything else you can think of. All Christians who are lax in loving the Lord need to amend their ways. The Lord needs more laborers for the harvest more than ever. It's do-or-die time for all of us, believers and unbelievers.

**Cool Communion Experience

Receiving the Lord with heartfelt love and great reverence is like receiving an admission ticket to heaven in advance.

**Correcting Warped Thinking

The Lord is perfect and remains the same forever, while we are weak, imperfect, and need to be upgraded. So it is proper that we beg for his mercy and help. Now you see how wrong and foolish it is for us to reject God and think that we can get anywhere without him.

***Sinners Are Fools***

The Gospels make it clear that Jesus dislikes hypocrisy, to put it mildly. For the Lord is all truth, while hypocrisy is the very opposite, pretending to be what you are not. So we must always be truthful and guileless. In other words, our motivation must always be pure. In today's Gospel reading from Luke 12, Jesus warned his disciples of the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. He also said to them, "There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known." So the Lord knows everything. Hide from him and sin, believing that no one would know, and you become the biggest fool in the eyes of the whole heaven!

****Facing Reality*

From Psalm 132, "If you, LORD, keep account of sins, Lord, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered." In the end, the Lord will pronounce us either guilty or forgiven. Right now if you are reading this, you still have the time to prefix his verdict on you!

**True Inner Peace*

This I know. There'll be no inner peace until you have reconciled with the God of Christ. Maybe you are on vacation, you enjoy your surroundings and feel totally relaxed. But any peace you might feel is superficial and short-lived, while true inner peace is generated from within your heart by the Holy Spirit. As long as you have not secured your eternal future, you will not experience true inner peace.

***Christ Alone Suffices*

Communion experience, The feeling was that "once you have Christ, you don't really want anything else anymore."

***Unique Force***

God is a unique force in that the more you let him overwhelm you, the more you feel free and exhilarated!

*****Smart Move*****

Our life is most precious to us. But if we are willing to offer our life up to God, we are truly enlightened. For we realize that we owe our life to God and that by giving all of ourselves to him, we gain eternal life.

**Responding in Evil Times

We are in a time of great evil and turmoil. Accordingly, we need to intensify our prayer effort by praying more often, to the point, and with greater urgency. The Lord God is our refuge.

***Witnessing for Christ

The Lord has sent prophets and Apostles to convert us, and many of them got martyred. Shouldn't we at least try to witness for the Lord at every chance we get? To remain silent is a sin of omission.

***Thoughts on Martyrdom

Today is the memorial of two saints and their companions, all martyrs. To be martyred for the glory of God is a great honor, but to be truly humble, we should leave martyrdom, like all else, entirely up to the Lord. If we specifically desire it, pride may be involved. The proper attitude is to accept martyrdom should the Lord send it our way.

*****Only One We Need*****

Welcome and treasure the Lord! He's the one you cannot live without, for you are totally dependent upon him—your body, your soul, your existence, you eternal future. He loves you, understands you, can set you free from sin and make you perfect, beautiful, and happy forever. He is your God, your Father, your brother, your friend, your servant, your teacher, you guide, your counselor, your physician, your healer, your most beloved, and your soulmate, all rolled into one. He's the only one we need. We are blessed to the hilt! Start rejoicing in the Lord right now!

**Quick Response to God

You realize that you are about to commit a sin, you immediately turn to the Lord and stop cold turkey—this shows that you possess a sharp, alert conscience. Thank the Lord for such a gift!

***Path to Spiritual Freedom

Since I know that the God of Christ is the true God, the only way to be set free is to obey and serve him alone. Of course, if you've been playing God all your lives, you probably didn't like what you've just read. I first believed when I became intellectually convinced, then what I actually experienced afterwards confirmed that I was right and left me without any doubt whatsoever. You see, when God lets you know something, you just know that it's true. Truths are learned thru faith. It's a great feeling knowing that you are free in the Lord and nothing can enslave you anymore!

***How God Has Made Us

We were created in the image of God, so we understand good and evil and can conceive God. When we reject him, we feel uneasy and lost. Then when we believe in him, we actually experience freedom and peace. All this confirms what St. Augustine has saidYou have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you. Knowing how God has made us can help us understand ourselves and point the way to becoming more like him.

***How God Wants Us to Feel

When we abandon ourselves in God, all our anxieties vanish. This is exactly how the Lord wants us to feel. He wants us to experience freedom, peace, and joy.
