God is pure love, so why are you afraid of him?

***Start with Yourself First
In today's Gospel reading from Luke 11, Jesus made a Pharisee see that making one's inside clean is a lot more important than making the outside of things clean. You see, the latter is for others to see and the former, for God to see.
***Spiritual Life Summarized
To reject God, you just do it—you don't need God's help. On the other hand, to love God with all your heart, with all you mind, and with all your soul, you need all of God's help. Surrender yourself to him totally and it's accomplished!
**God Calling
If you feel the need to change yourself for the better, know that the Lord God is calling you! Rejoice.

***Infinity Realized
Infinity is an abstract concept until you meet the Lord God, for he has always existed, is not limited by anything, and nothing is impossible for him. We are creatures made by him, so we are finite. The creator just has to be infinite or he won't be able to create anything. So the Lord has made infinity a concrete reality and I am excited about that!
**Learning from the Right One
Often we realize that we should have done something we didn't do or should have done differently. There are always things to learn. Then we'd better learn from the holy Lord and not from the world, for he is the only one who will not lead us astray.

***Communion Experience***
At Mass, the Lord again reminded us that he gave up his body and poured out his blood to bestow his greatest love upon us. He exalted us by entering us thru the Holy Eucharist and we were never the same again! The Lord surely knows how to please us!
***Letting God Be Our Lord***
We like to do what we want to do, and God wants us to do what he wants us to do. Considering that the Lord knows infinitely more and is infinitely wiser than we, and has the final say in everything that happens, we'd better let him be our Lord if we possess any sense.
***Be Invited AND Chosen*
In today's Gospel reading from Matthew 22, Jesus told the parable of the wedding feast to the chief priests and elders of the people. The reality was summed up in his last statement: "Many are invited, but few are chosen." This has remained the same as of today. All the more we need to make sure that we are chosen by God. In the parable, the king invited everyone, so it's really up to us.
**Death Already Destroyed*
In today's first reading from Isaiah 25, the prophet prophesied that the LORD of hosts would destroy death forever. This happened when Christ came to us. Death now no longer exists for those who follow Christ! If you still die, then it has to be your own doing.
**Our Final Chastisement
I know I have offended my God and I am ready and willing to pay every cent I owe him, knowing that he is most kind and always just. To be disciplined by the Lord before entering heaven is totally fitting and something to look forward to.

**Only Response to the Lord
Communion experience. No questions, nothing to say . . . I simply submit myself to the Lord with gratitude and in contentment.
**Not to Be Ignored*
God can make us holy. I am pretty sure that you all know that, but how does it strike you? If you ever wish to get into heaven for sure, then you should try to be as holy as possible. To ignore this matter is to bury your head in the sand. Pretty soon, life will be over and you chance to get into heaven for sure is no more.
**Changing Your Course of Life
To believe in the God of Christ is to change you outlook and life. First, you repent of you sins to get started. Then you realize that you have the perfect almighty God, your most loving Father, looking after you and helping you grow holy. You finally develop an unshakable faith and know that nothing can ever stop you from returning to God your Father in heaven. Now you rejoice in the Lord always!

***Call to Perfection***
Communion experience. You can't receive the Lord and still sin. If the Lord dwells in you, there must be no place for sin. Remain in deep union with him and you will be off-limits to sin.
**The Lord Essential to Us
In today's Gospel reading from Luke 11, Jesus said to the crowd, "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." This tells me that we must follow and produce good results for him. In other words, we need him.
***Reaching Maximum Strength Spiritually
The motto "United we stand, divided we fall" is practically common sense. So when we attain union with God, we stand with him forever.
***Loving God Takes Care of Us
We are sinners and both good and bad things happen to us. But for those who love God, he take cares of them and whatever happens to them is always best for them. The world as a whole is also a sinful place with good and bad things happening to it. Even though many in the world do not love God, everything will still work out best for those who love him. So we who love the Lord accept whatever comes our way, knowing that they are best for us and that we'll triumph over evil with him in the end.
