In today's Gospel reading from John 10, Jesus said to the Jews, "My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one." Decades back as I was studying nuclear engineering, I learned how to calculate the critical mass needed to sustain the process of nuclear fission using a mathematical equation, I felt I'd learned a great secret. But this is nothing compared to what Christ has revealed to us here—follow him and we are assured of receiving eternal life no one can take away from us.

***Being a Christian Is . . .
all about helping the Lord defeat evil, defending the one who defends us.
***Three Heavenly Gifts***
Jesus gives us freedom, peace, and joy, more or less in that order. We experience freedom when we become detached from the world. Peace follows after we put our trust entirely in the Lord. Joy is now his free gift to us to sweeten and strengthen our union with him.

***New Eucharistic Miracle***
This amazing miracle happened on March 5th this year at St. Thomas Church, Thomaston, CT. Let the Pastor, Rev. Joseph Crowley, tell you about it. He has a good message for us too.
*****Amazing Endearing Relationship**
I have not seen God visually nor heard him audibly. I have only read and heard about him, Yet, without the slightest doubt, I know he loves me, and I have fallen deeply in love with him. Amazingly, he is more real to me than anyone else in this world, myself included!
**God Is Omnipotent**
Being finite beings, we don't know or understand all things. Then we figure out how to do many things, progressing increasingly. This puffs up our pride to the point that we don't think of God anymore, not realizing that he is infinite and can accomplish anything simply by willing it. He even created all of us! We have to be out of our mind to think that we don't need him. If we possess any sense at all, we would pray to God and believe in him with all our heart.
***Incredible Truth***
Still can't believe that I can have eternal life through Christ! But yes, I am going to live forever with my most beloved Lord and God for all eternity!!! This time, too good to be turns out to be absolutely true!

*****Most Rewarding Feeling*****
Communion time disposition. You remain wide open to the Lord, ready to yield to whatever he wants to tell you. Then he enters you. There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling than knowing that you and the Lord are of one mind and one spirit!!!

**Becoming Superhuman
Communion thoughts. When we receive the Lord into us, we become superhuman, you might say. We now belong to God and are free of the world. And we have eternal life all granted to us to boot.
**On Fire with Love
Today is the Memorial of Saint Catherine of Sienna, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. Fr. Steve at Mass mentioned that she was on fire with love. I like that expression, letting love set you on fire. Since God is love, we ask him to set our hearts on fire. This is how we should pray for ourselves.
***Most Intimate Sweet Relationship***
We all face problems in this life. Without God, we bear the whole burden and try to figure out how to solve the problem. This can cause a lot of stress. With God, we turn to him first, giving him the problem and asking for his guidance. Sometime I go to the Lord almost in tears and he knows exactly how I feel and completely relieves my burden. The problem always goes away or is solved in some way afterwards. So this is the Lord God, the God of Christ, we can always turn to, whether we are happy or sad, feel like laughing or crying . . . . It is the most intimate sweet relationship we can have, possible only with him!

**Imperfect, yet Happy**
Many artists seek to attain perfection, so they are never satisfied with what they are doing. What about us Christians? We also aim to attain perfection, but we are always happy knowing that the Lord has saved us and is leading us to become perfect in heaven.
**Watching What We Say
It is easy to say whatever comes to our mind among friends and people we know. Many thoughts may be innocent, but there are times what we wish to say definitely do not glorify God. If we sense that, it'd be better for us to remain silent. Here's one example. We talk about someone we know, someone imperfect like any of us, and start to point out all his shortcomings. Even if we speak the truth, we are not giving God glory.
*****So Good to Know
The Gospel reading comes from John 6. Jesus said to the Jews, "Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood is true drink. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him." I now know that the Lord will raise me on the last day, and for the time being I and he remain in each other. How good it is to know this! I am jubilant!
***God Has Plans for Us***
Today's first reading, Acts 9:1-20, tells the amazing conversion of Saul (Paul). The Lord Jesus had a plan for him—he had chosen him to be his instrument to carry his name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. Once the Lord set his eyes on Paul, he became a changed man. We may not get called in such a dramatic manner, nevertheless God has a plan for each of us too. Let the Lord fully capture us and we'll be able to accomplish his mission for us beautifully too.
