In today's Gospel reading from Luke 12, Jesus said to his disciples: "I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God." He said this because he is the Lord and how you respond to him will make all the difference. He also said, "When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defense will be or about what you are to say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say." Of course, it will work like this only if you truly put your trust in him and not worry about things. Faith in God always works wonders.

How God feels About us
I have not yet gotten back to the routine of attending daily Mass, but here's part of yesterday's Gospel reading from Luke 12 which I think we should absolutely know: Many people were crowding together. Jesus began to speak, first to his disciples, "There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more. I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one. Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God. Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows." God knows everything about us because we are most important to him. We should be afraid of him only if we hide ourselves from him. Otherwise, there is nothing to fear, for he loves us.

**Most Beautiful Feeling
In general, people naturally are very much connected with the world they live in, but it is such a beautiful feeling to be able to tune out all the noises and any tumult around you and commune instantly with your Lord ad God who dwells within you at any moment!
*How Humility Begins
True humility begins with acknowledging to God that you are a sinner and need salvation with his help. There is no other way.
*Concern Devoid of Vanity
Do not be concerned about leaving any legacy or making a mark on the world; be only concerned about storing up your treasures in heaven.
Easy to Forget
We usually realize that we need God when we are in a big jam, forgetting that we are dependent upon him every single moment. Wake up – God must be #1 in our life in every way!
Life's Most Essential Ingredient
Those who do not know Christ have no idea how sad life would be without him. But those who know Christ realize this most keenly, for life would be meaningless without him, which is saying that life is completely fulfilled with him.
In God's Good Hands
One day last month, I got sick and wondered how I was going to perform all the things that had been scheduled for the day after the next. So I placed myself completely at God's mercy. Knowing that I was in the best possible hands, I felt at peace. I did recover well enough the next day to perform all the tasks scheduled for the following day. It's best to trust in God and not worry, and he delivers.
Urgency for Salvation!
We are living in an imperfect, sinful world, facing tests every moment to see how perfect and holy we are. To fail these tests continuously is to invite self-condemnation at the end. How urgently we need Christ, the light of the world, the resurrection and the life, to save us for all eternity!
*Most Foolish Game
Also most common Game in town. You are so self-centered that you play God yourself, even though deep down you know you cannot save your own soul.
Sad Questions
Our God the Father and our creator deservers all our trust and love, yet how many of his children truly know him and how many of those who know him truly love him?
Ideal Living
Today I'll share thoughts that came to me within the last 5 weeks or so.
God can easily make us holy so that no evil dare touch or influence us anymore. Let him so transform you that you might enjoy living with inner peace.

**Best Soulmate*
Do you realize that when you are in union with God, he is your soulmate? [Note: Again, this month will be a short month of blogging, for circumstances will prevent me from attending daily Mass and having access to a computer. Please check back after Oct. 16. Of course, your are welcome to read my old posts. More to the point, I pray that you will truly seek union with God, making him your soulmate – the purpose of this blog. Once you attain union, God will speak directly to your heart and you won't need to read me anymore, for whatever you get from me is only second-hand information. God bless you all abundantly.]
Good vs Evil
An evil person is one who is sole interested in his own preservation and welfare. He is self-centered, has no conscience, and no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with him, and is therefore a hypocrite. If cornered or exposed, he lashes out even more with lies and hatred. Sadly, you can see many such examples today in our world. On the other hand, a holy person is one who remains humble, loving, and peaceful, condemning never the sinner, only the sins. He prays to God to crush evil, but still save all the souls. In sum, he is Christlike. The good certainly make the bad look worse, while the bad make the good look even better. To be evil is surely to be a loser.

*Intoxicated With God
Communion experience. It was sweet, exhilarating, completely satisfying, yet feeling deeply peaceful to be drunk with the Lord. The soul experienced him and was made whole.
Most Memorable Visit From God
Decades ago I had an emergency and ended up in a hospital. While I was still feeling weak and helpless, a lady entered my room to ask me if I would like to receive the Lord in the Holy Eucharist, for she was a Eucharistic minister visiting the sick from the neighborhood church to which I now belong. I was surprised and overjoyed that the Lord should visit me at this crucial time to bolster my strength and spirit. A day I shall always remember.
