"Be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

Awesome, Eternal Father

This morning's entrance verse, Matthew 25.34: Come, you blessed of my Father; receive the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world, alleluia. Such a statement has to be either truth or nonsense. Since it's impossible for me to believe that Jesus is a hoax, the statement must be true. The effect on me then is awesome beyond words ~ I can only rejoice and abandon myself in his love, not even thinking about it!

Big Thing

Forgiving is a big thing. When God forgives us, we become clean and free, no longer weighed down. The reconciliation restores our relationship with God, bringing about healing of the soul. When we can forgive others and become friends again, it's no less big, as it gladdens the heart of God our Father. Let love triumph for his glory and our own liberation.

Our High Status

In today's Gospel reading from John 20 at Mass, the resurrected Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene outside the empty tomb. After Mary recognized that it was the Lord, he said to her, "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" Jesus and we share the same Father and the same God – we should rejoice and never disrespect ourselves again!

One Beautiful Feeling

One most beautiful feeling is knowing that you experience exactly the same joys and sorrows as your beloved Lord, Jesus.

Wake Up, World

Foolish world! Your God has died for you in order to save you, but you continue to ignore your own sinful state and turn away or reject him as if he does not even exist. You will not reap what you do not sow. If you are not sorry about what you are doing now, you will experience the greatest sorrow of all eternity later. Time to wake and wise up!

Ready for God

Easter Communion experience. Since Jesus has fulfilled all my desire and there is nothing I lack anymore, my soul is ready to be snatched by God.

How We Matter

We should matter to God only and not at all to ourselves.

To Be Set Free

Physically, we are completely earthbound due to the gravitational pull, but we do have the innate desire to be set free. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to let God set our soul free, fulfilling our ultimate desire.

Love and Fire

God is love, but he is also fire. Respect both by enjoying his love and never playing with his fire.

Most Beautiful Joy

It's a joy that's rooted in God and for God and characterized by freedom ~ it is the joy of total abandonment in God.

How Love Flows

In union with God, your spiritual love for him grows, from which flows his love for others.

Pseudo Freedom

If you think you are free on your own without God, you are not free.

Infinite Mercy Necessary

We are supposed to love God with our all our heart, all our soul, all our strength, and all our mind, yet we fall far short. Should the mercy of God be finite, we would be doomed. In order for us to be saved, his mercy must be infinite.

Becoming Holy

Becoming holy is the process of parting with yourself until you completely belong to God.

Unique Belonging

Jesus is the only one whom I can claim to be all mine, while he belongs to all others who love him.

Joy of Union

Communion experience of Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion. I felt as if I had lived my whole life for this moment of union with the Lord. The joy was indescribable.

Forbidden Risk

Jesus is the only one who can save us from damnation ~ there are no others. Jesus says, "Whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father" (Matthew 10.33). Risk losing your health or mind, but never your soul!

Two Big Things

Since accepting Jesus is such a big thing that it can change your life and get you into heaven, rejecting him is equally big.
